I had another email kick back- some of these hens are missing feathers in other areas as well. One of them has no feathers essentially, on its head either, and i presumed this was due to aggressive roosters.
One also had some clear fluid coming out of its vent yesterday

the roosters are fine, real healthy. I put some vaseline on one of the sad looking patches of featherless scabbed up area just forward of the vent. I have picture i can email you if you want to see it and think you may have seen something like this before
